Grab your stick of rock and pack your bucket and spade by joining Warhorse Theatreworks as they embark on a trip to the seaside in William Shakespeare’s timeless farce, The Comedy of Errors. The Warhorse production of The Comedy of Errors adds hilarious physical comedy, new songs music and dance, puppetry, some characters you’ve never met before and a Punch and Judy show to this early Shakespearean work. “I to the world am like a drop of water That in the ocean seeks another drop.” Antipholus feels like a part of himself is missing. Fearing that he will never be whole he sets off to find his long-lost twin brother. His search brings him to the seaside port-town of Ephesus; a town where, reputedly, dark-working sorcerers and witches roam freely with tricksters and con-men about the streets and where strangers, especially those from Syracuse like Antipholus, are strung up by the neck to die while the town dances on. Antipholus finds more than he bargained for – new friends, a wife he doesn’t like, and things about himself he never thought possible. Warhorse Theatreworks is an exciting new ensemble theatre company specializing in new and devised work. With a keen eye to attract and entertain the new interactive generation of theatre goers, Warhorse provide an eclectic and fresh approach to theatrical entertainment. “This is classic Shakespeare, meets puppet theatre, meets physical theatre, meets musical theatre meets dance theatre. This is Warhorse.” Tickets £10/£8 from 0207 935 7640 More information www.warhorsetheatreworks.com
