WELCOME TO THE

COCKPIT THEATRE

NICK CLEGG AT THE COCKPIT

On the 16th April, the leader of the Liberal Democrats, Nick Clegg, came to the Cockpit to record an election broadcast for the European elections and the English local elections

The Cockpit Theatre is conveniently situated in central London.  Purpose-built in 1970, we are confident it offers the best value hiring opportunities of like kind within the M25.

The theatre is well-known in the arts and entertainments industry and the venue's engaging atmosphere and reputation for innovative work (and easy evening parking) makes it popular with press, VIPs and audiences alike.

The Cockpit has its own small team of permanent, dedicated staff but is owned and funded by City of Westminster College; a combination that makes for a friendly, professional environment but comparatively low overheads - enabling us to offer highly competitive rates.

CAMP HORROR

A new musical by the writers of the award winning international hit "A Slice Of Saturday Night" & "Lust".

A group of high school students and their drama teacher are rehearsing the end of year show, a spoof horror musical ‘Camp Horror’. Things turn creepy when events in the script start happening in real life. But that’s only to be expected since they’ve chosen a derelict theatre on an isolated island, none of the phones work and, of course, a storm has just washed away the bridge. With laughs, chills and 15 new songs ‘Camp Horror’ rocks and shocks.

"Smart, funny… and as for the ending...it's a scream! I absolutely loved it!" On Stage Scotland

"... an ingenious twist..." The Guardian

“… absolutely brilliant from start to finish…” The Retford Times

"Grease meets gore" The Scotsman

“… a great romp with as many deserved laughs as it has shocks” The Stage

“This production couldn't do the genre more justice if it tried” Edinburgh Evening News

26th - 30th May  •  7.30pm

Tickets £11.50/£9 (not suitable for children)
